HERE LIETH THE BODY OF
JOHN PACKHAM OF THIS PARISH
WHO DIED DECR. 28Th 1746
AGED 41 YEARS HE HAD ISSUE
BY SARAH HIS WIFE 2 SONS & 5
DAUGHRS. 6 WHEREOF LIE BURIED BY
HIM HIS DAUGR. ELIZ. STILL SURVIVING

Like the Laurel Tree,
But soon Cut Down,
By Death in his Prosperity"
