Ash next Ridley - Parish Information

The History of Education in the Village of Ash next Ridley, Kent. (1735-1950)

the said Trustees of the said school at their annual meeting aforesaid And upon this further trust that they the said Churchwardens and Overseers and their successors shall and do from time to time and at all times for ever hereafter expend and lay out the yearly sum of Twenty shillings Residue of the said 

last mentioned Annuity or yearly sum of Fifty shillings in the buying of pen ink paper and books for the sole use of such children as shall be so nominated or appointed by the Trustees or the Overseers aforesaid to receive the benefit of being so taught or instructed in the said school
