Abstract of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Geoffrey Copus.2005

Mary Sales of Chelsfield dated 14 January 1852

Abstract of the will of Mary Sales of Chelsfield spinster dated 14 January 1852.
I give to the 13 persons named the following sums of £3% Consolidated Annuities -
My sister Ann Sawyers - £100
George Sawyers her husband - £50
Sarah Scott, the daughter of my said sister - £100
Richard Charles Scott her husband - £50
Amelia Bull, the daughter of my said sister - £100
James Bull her husband - £50
My sister Sarah Brown, widow - £100
Charles Brown her son - £50
Sarah Brown her daughter - £50
My brother John Ringer - £100
Mary Ringer his wife - £50
Sarah Ringer her daughter - £50
Caroline Ringer, another daughter - £50
    I give to the following 6 people, all late of Chelsfield, spinsters £12 each of the said Annuities –
Susan, Ann, Matilda, Mary Ann, Ellen and Georgiana Crawford.
   I give all residue to the said Richard Charles Scott and James Bull equally, and appoint them as my Executors.
   Mary Sales witnesses Richard Yates, bricklayer, Chelsfield Henry R. French, carpenter ……?........ [illegible in mf]
Proved 6 February 1852 by Richard Charles Scott and James Bull the Executors named in the will.
