Abstract of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Geoffrey Copus.2005

George Tibbs of Chelsfield dated 17 May 1816

Abstract of the will of George Tibbs of Pratts Bottom, Chelsfield, innkeeper dated 7 May 1816.

   I give to my wife Mary Tibbs and her heirs for ever all houses, lands, tenements, hereditaments, cattle, goods, furniture and monies due to me etc., to be at her disposal to give to my children as she thinks agreeable, she receiving all debts due to me and paying any debts I owe.

   I appoint my wife and John Elcock of New Cross, smith and farrier, to be my Executors.

   Witnesses William Young Thomas Wells.

Proved 15 June 1816 by Mary Tibbs widow the relict and John Elcock.        [PCC will PROB11/1581]
