Abstract of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Geoffrey Copus.2005

Ann Tymewell of Chelsfield dated 5 June 1735

Abstract of the will of Ann Tymewell of Chelsfield spinster dated 5 June 1735.
   I give to my dearly beloved brother Edward Tymewall of Chigwell, Essx Esq. all my messuages and lands called Deal Prebend (holden of the Archbishop of Canterbury and which were devised to me by my late uncle Joshua Copping Esq.) to him and his heirs for ever "together with the right and benefit of renewal in the said premises and all other the rights privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging".
   I also give to Amy the wife of John Plummer of Chelsfield yeoman £20 , and to my brother William Tymewell now of Acera in Africa and late of London Gentleman all the residue of my estate after payment of my debts etc.
   But in case my said brother William shall not be living at the time of my death then such residue shall go to my brother Edward Tymewall and his heirs, and I appoint him as my Executor.
   Ann X Tymewall witnesses Job Bartholomew a shoemaker at Chelsfield William Chapman at Chelsfield a farmer Jere: Bentham Jun [? or Innh:] in Aldgate Church Lane.
Proved 17 July 1735 by Edward Tymewall Esq . the brother.        [PCC will PROB11/672]
