A detailed description of the fabric can be found on page 73 of The Saxon and Early Medieval Pottery of London
   by Alan Vince and Annie Jenner pages 19-119, in Aspects of Saxo-Norman London: II Finds and Environmental
   Evidence. London & Middlesex Archaeological Society Special Paper 12. 1991
