IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I THOMAS FOWLER
of Gillingham in the County of Kent Shipwright belonging to his
Majesty's Yard at Chatham being of Sound and Disposing memory and
understanding (Praised be God for the same) Do make publish and declare
this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to
say) First I Will and Direct that
all such just Debts as I shall owe at the time of my decease together
with my Funeral Charges the Probate of this my Will and all such charges
and Expenses as my Executrix shall be at in and about the Execution
thereof be fully paid and satisfied Item all and every the rest and
residue of my ready Money Debts Credits Pay and Wages due to me for
myself and servant in his Majesty's Yard at Chatham and all such Wages
as shall hereafter become due for my said Servant in the said Yard or
elsewhere during the remainder of of his Apprenticeship all
such Household Goods Chattels Plate Rings Apparel Linen and Woollen and
all personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever that shall be any ways
due owing and belonging to me at the time of my decease I
give devise and bequeath the same unto my well beloved Wife ANN FOWLER
and I do hereby nominate Ordain Constitute and appoint my said Wife ANN
FOWLER Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament And
I declare this only to be my last Will and Testament and revoke disannul
and make void all other and former Wills and bequests by me at any time
heretofore made Published or Spoken In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the eighteenth day
of January in the twenty seventh year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord
George the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and
Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the Year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and fifty four THOS FOWLER
Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said THOMAS FOWLER
the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in presence of us WILLIAM
COWES STEP. DUER
