1930 with the comment – ‘Diocesan Report. As usual everything satisfactory.’11 And ‘Again as usual, generally good.’12
   For a fortnight in 1926 the school held a camp at Camber to which 23 children went, and again in 1927 when 20 children went to Combe Martin in North Devon, among them Pop Goodwin, son of the fore mentioned Mr Fred Goodwin.13
  
Although the Log Book and Minutes of the Managers’ Meetings report the life of the school in some detail, and the latter becomes more orderly, possibly with the introduction of agendas for their meetings, a rather amusing entry will occasionally be inserted as for example in 1932: ‘permission was requested that one of the girls could be away from 

school to attend  Guide Camp. The Managers did not give permission, but stated that they would take no action should the girl absent herself for the occasion!’14
   In 1933 there was some discussion about converting the school ‘offices’ to the flushing system, but this was left in abeyance.15 (In fact they were not converted until some time after the present headmistress,16  Mrs Muller was appointed. The plans were discussed on several occasions
