Abstract of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Geoffrey Copus.2005

Mary Brooker of Chelsfield dated 3 September 1833

Abstract of the will of Mary Brooker of Lilleys Farm, Chelsfield widow dated 3 September 1833.
   With the exception of certain Stocks and Funds which by an Indenture of Assignment dated 7 January 1830 under the hands of my late husband Joseph Brooker and myself were settled for the benefit of our children and for that of Elizabeth Brooker, his daughter by his first wife, I give all my estate to be divided equally among the said Elizabeth Brooker and my children Joseph Chapman Brooker, Samuel, Mary, Amy and Jane Brooker. In case any should die in my lifetime without issue then his or her share is to be divided equally among the others. If any should die in my lifetime leaving issue then his or her share is to be divided equally among such children at age 21.
   I appoint my sons Joseph Chapman Brooker and Samuel Brooker as my Executors.
   Mary Brooker witnesses Lucy Challon, servant to Mrs. Brooker Jas: Fuller Madox, Solr: Footscray.
Proved 23 November 1835 by Joseph Chapman Brooker and Samuel Brooker the sons.
