        Abstract of the will of Elizabeth Cox of Chelsfield
        widow dated 23 May 1783.
           I give to my loving brother Thomas Colyer of Farningham
        yeoman £300 to be placed out by him in Government or real Securities
        with all convenient speed after my death and the dividends and interest
        thereof to be paid to my loving sister Mary Hassell for her own use for
        life, and after her death in Trust to pay the said principal sum of £300
        to all the children of the said Mary Hassell as shall attain 21 years
        share and share alike, and if Mary die before any of them become 21 then
        the interest is to be applied for their benefit meanwhile.
           I give to my said brother Thomas Colyer£100 for his own
        use.
           I give all my household goods and wearing apparel to my
        sisters Mary Hassell, Ann Jessup and Sarah Fuller, to be equally divided
        among them.
           I leave all residue to the use of such of my brothers and
        sisters Charles Colyer, James Colyer, Thomas Colyer, Henry Colyer, Mary
        Hassell, Ann Jessup and Sarah Fuller as shall happen to be living at my
        death equally.
           As to the share of my brother Charles Colyer, it is to be
        placed out as soon as possible after my death in the name of my Executor
        and some other proper Trustee In Trust to permit my said brother Charles
        Colyer to receive the interest thereof during his lifetime. After his
        death, to be held in Trust to permit my sister Mary Hassell to receive
        the interest for life, and after her death to be distributed among such
        of her children as attain 21 years, share and share alike, and meantime
        the interest to be applied for the benefit of any under 21.
           I appoint my brother Thomas Colyer as my Executor.
