Abstract of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Geoffrey Copus.2005

Thomas Crockford of Chelsfield dated 6 January 1847

Abstract of the will of Thomas Crockford of Chelsfield labourer dated 6 January 1847.
   I give to my wife Eleanor Crockford £300 which I have in my Master Mr. Waring’s hands and for which I hold a note of hand, and also what money I may have in the Bromley Savings Bank, and any other money or securities for money I may have, to her for her own use and benefit. I also give her all my household furniture and other effects.
   I appoint my said wife Eleanor as my Executrix.
   Thomas Crockford witnesses Thos: Waring Wm: Waring
   In the goods of Thomas Crockford deceased on 23 October 1848 appeared personally Thomas Waring of Chelsfield Esquire and deposed that he and the other witness William Waring signed their names in the presence of the testator and of each other.
