John Day of Chelsfield dated 2 November 1767

Abstract of the will of John Day of Chelsfield victualler dated 2 November 1767 "with the permission of God."
   I give all my freehold estate in Chelsfield called by the name of the Eleven Cricketers to my wife Mary Day for life.
   After her death, I leave the property to my nephew George Day and my niece Sarah Everid for ever, share and share alike.
   I give to my niece Mary Trull £20.
   I give all residue to my wife for ever and appoint her Executrix.
   John Day witnesses Elizabeth Detillin Samuel Cooper
Proved 18 November 1774 by Mary Day the relict.                    [PCC will PROB11/1002]
