Abstract of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Geoffrey Copus.2005

John Gainsford of Chelsfield dated 19 January 1808

Abstract of the will of John Gainsford of Chelsfield butcher dated 19 January 1808.
   I give to my daughters Ann wife of Peter Hail and Sarah wife of Robert Limmer £10 each.
   I give to my wife (not named) all residue of real and personal estate including stock of every description in and about the dwelling house wherein I now live at Chelsfield for life, and after her death to my said two daughters for ever as tenants in common.
   I appoint Mr. John Fuller of Chelsfield gentlemen as Trustee and Executor.
   Witnesses John Nash Henry Carpenter R.H.G. Morris.
On 5 July 1820 Administration with will annexed was granted to Ann Hale wife of Peter Hale (in the will written Hail) the daughter and one of the residuary legatees, John Fuller the Executor named and Ann Gainsford the wife and the residuary legatee for life having died in the testator’s lifetime.
