        Abstract of the will of Stephen Jackson of Sluts Hole
        in Chelsfield husbandman dated 6 June 1840.
           I give to my brothers and sisters George Jackson, Lucy the
        wife of Anthony Ward of Pratts Bottom Chelsfield and Elizabeth the wife
        of William Crane of Tatsfield the mortgage of £73 on the house
        belonging to my brother George Jackson in Chelsfield, to be equally
        divided between them.

        In the PCC, In the Goods of Stephen Jackson deceased -
           On 13 January 1841 appeared personally William Young of
        Pratts Bottom, Chelsfield, farmer and testified that he is one of the
        subscribed witnesses to the last will and testament of Stephen Jackson
        formerly of Sluts Hole but late of Pratts Bottom farm servant deceased
        dated 6 June 1840 and that he duly executed the will by signing his name
        at the foot or end thereof in the presence of William Peacock the other
        subscribed witness … and they both subscribed their names in the
        presence of the Testator and of each other.
            On 15 January 1841 administration with the will
        annexed of the goods chattels and credits of Stephen Jackson formerly of
        Sluts Hole but late of Pratts Bottom farmer was granted to Thomas
        Jackson, a brother and one of the next of kin, being sworn to administer
        as Executor or Residuary Legatee.

        husbandman, farm servant and farmer].
