The Forties   The Reporter, Sat 28th February 1948 "Little freeze-Up" Was Unpleasant While It lasted. Drifting snow several feet deep. Vigo village snowed in, Harvel cut off early on Saturday morning. Two newspaper pictures of the snow.

An Advertisement for a Television: something worth looking at.

The Queen's visit to Meopham 24th October 1956, arriving by train and continuing her journey to the Medway Towns by car.

Arthur Skeffington M.P.  Came to Meopham in 1952 and he and his family shared The Old Vicarage with Thomas and Dorothy Fox until his death in 1971. Here remembered as a founder member of the Meopham Footpaths Group and all the work him put into the presevation of footpaths and other rights of way
