Meopham Local History Posters - from an exhibition held in 1995

Poster

In 1930 Cyril and Roland KING bought the vacant shop at the station and converted it into a butcher's shop. They carried out deliveries of meat on motorbikes. Their rounds extended to Ridley, Ash, Fairseat and Harvel.

Details are given of their experiences in building their butchery business throughout WWII and beyond.

Includes many pictures.
