This last name is more probably to be read as Turg', for in
the Treasurers' Accounts F.2 the name is written Turgisium, and at the
end of the Assisa itself under Treasurers' Accounts occurs:—

In the Bartoner's Roll for 1317/18 (vi. ii.) occurs an
early reference to the Cathedral glazier:—
