herein before mentioned and in consideration of the further sum of Ten shillings of lawful British money to him the said James Lance in hand paid by the said parties of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged HE the said James Lance HATH given granted and confirmed and by these presents DOTH give grant and confirm unto the said James Bowdler, James Wade, John Wade, William Hodsall, Charles Whitehead, and John Rogers their Heirs and assigns ONE ANNUITY yearly rent charge or sum of ten pounds ten shillings of lawful money of Great Britain to be issuing had received and taken by and out of ALL THAT Messuage or Tenement with the barn yards garden and appurtenances thereunto belonging AND ALSO ALL those several pieces or parcels of arable pasture and wood land with the appurtenances containing together by estimation Seven acres be the same more or less formerly in the tenure or

occupation of James Munn since the of the Widow Porter and now of the said James Lance his undertenants or assigns which said Messuage Barn Yards Garden Lands and Premises are situate standing near a certain place called West Choake in the said Parish of Ash in the County of Kent aforesaid TO HAVE HOLD receive perceive take and enjoy the said annuity yearly Rent charge or sum of ten pounds ten shillings and every part thereof unto the said Thomas Bowdler, James Wade, John Wade, William Hodsall, Charles Whitehead and John Rogers, their heirs and assigns for ever as joint tenants as the same annuity or yearly rent charge can be paid by half yearly payment at Lady-day and Michaelmas-day in each and every year by equal and even portions without any deduction and abatement whatsoever for or in respect of any taxes or assessments or other matter cause or thing taxed
