The History of Education in the Village of Ash next Ridley, Kent. (1735-1950)

promoting the education of the poor in the principles of the established Church throughout England and Wales AND it hereby declared that the entire control and management of the said school and of the funds and endowments thereof shall be vested in the Rector for the time being of the said Parish of Ash PROVIDED always that if at any time hereafter the Bishop of the Diocese in which the said school is situate shall see fit by and with consent of the said Incumbent to appoint under his hand and seal a Committee of management for the

said school then such a committee of management to be appointed in such a manner and for such period as the said Bishop by and with the consent of the aforesaid may direct shall thenceforth have the control and management of the said school and of the funds and endowments thereof IN WITNESS whereof I the said Multon Lambarde have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of March in the year of Our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and sixty seven.
