the end of 1913. He complained that he was not being notified of the meetings and that the school was being badly run. In the Ministry of Education file there are many letters from different people, including Mr Fred Goodwin, on this subject of the running of the school. Finally Mr Meyers has to

leave the Managers when he takes up a post in Tonbridge and he receives a letter, which states that he would not cease to be a Manager if he continued teaching, but could not continue to teach if he remained a manager!!
