every part and parcel thereof TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Messuages tenements or Alms Houses ground and all and singular other the hereditaments herein before expressed to be hereby granted bargained and sold with their and every of their Rights Members and appurtenances unto the said Thomas Bowdler, James Wade, John Wade, William Hodsall, Charles Whitehead and John Rogers their heirs and assigns for ever as joint tenants UPON THE TRUSTS and to and for the ends intents and purposes and under and subject to the Provisoes conditions and agreements herein after expressed and declared of and concerning the same (that is to say) UPON TRUST that they the said parties of the second part and the survivors and survivor of them and the heirs and assigns of such survivors and all future trustees to be nominated and appointed as here in after mentioned do and shall permit and suffer the four widows who may be first nominated and appointed by the said James Lance

to reside in the Alms House to continue and reside therein during their respective lives, only they shall be removed and expelled there from (this word is illegible in the original document.) herein after mentioned and after their respective deaths or expulsion do and shall at all times and for ever permit and suffer all and every the person and persons who shall be duly nominated and elected from time to time as Alms Women in the manner and in pursuance of the powers and trusts herein after expressed to reside in and occupy respectively the said Messuage tenements or Alms Houses with the appurtenances thereto belonging free of rent and to possess enjoy and receive all the benefits accommodation profits and emoluments to the same belonging or in any other wise annexed while they the said several Alms Women shall be entitled under the Trusts thereof to occupy and enjoy the same AND UPON FURTHER TRUST
